Moped Laws at a Glance

  • Y'all must hold a driver's license (any course) to operate a moped on public streets.  A Class G motorcycle license is not required.
  • Helmet use, vehicle registration and a license plate are required.

Moped Definition

Safety Equipment

How to Register Your Moped

Inspection
